Trainings on Distributed Solar PV Policy and Grid Integration for the Government of Nepal

This project consisted of preparing and delivering an in-depth training series with senior officials in Nepal on policy mechanisms to encourage the development of distributed solar PV in the country, as well as the technical parameters to ensure the growing shares of solar PV can be integrated into the country’s power grid. The three-day training was conducted in collaboration with the Alternative Energy Promotion Center (AEPC) in Nepal, the national utility, as well as with leading experts on the grid integration of variable renewable energy technologies from the National Renewable Energy Lab.
